Villa Botanica appoints Executive Chef
David has joined the Villa Botanica team after working for one of Sydney’s most reputable ‘Chefs Hat’ restaurants and is intent on bringing his fine dining skills and knowledge to the Villa Botanica kitchen, incorporating the bounty of local flavours.
Not only does this region boast aquamarine seas, lush tropical rainforests and breathtaking island scenery, it also generates outstanding fresh produce. Tropical fruits and vegetables, exotic herbs and berries, locally raised “beefalo”and a bounty of fresh seafood is all on offer … an offering that David is intent on making the most of.
David estimates that almost 95% of the new Villa Botanica wedding menus are made up of ingredients sourced within a 100km radius of Villa Botanica, highlighted with a number of unique fruits, herbs and nuts grown specifically on the Villa Botanica grounds.
